Lavrio Technological & Cultural Park is an attractive destination for multiple cultural events. Music concerts and scientific / artistic exhibitions, theatrical and dance performances, film screenings, conferences, seminars, lectures, corporate and other events have been taking place at the LTCP, during the latter’s 20 years of operation, in its conference and exhibition halls but also in its unique open-air spaces.
The area’s history, its monuments’ value and its industrial tradition are the key-factors that attract visitors. The site’s location is also an advantage since it is not far from the centre of Athens or from the Athens International Airport – Eleftherios Venizelos either, making Park an inviting destination to host conferences or other events. The LTCP’s recently renovated relevant facilities are of the order of 1280 sq.m. and provide technological equipment and full supplies for the best organisation of any kind of events. The Park also has an outdoor theatre of 700 to 1200 seats, extended gardens and yards available for hosting events, as well as car parking.
The “Pharmacy” Hall is a single space, located in a building made of stone, with a wooden tile roof of byzantine tiles. It is fully equipped with 4 × 4 projection screen, video projector and audio installation. Ideal space for lectures, workshops and meetings for up to 80 people, the room is of an area of 110m2 and has a capacity of 80 people in a “theatre style” layout.
The “Repair House” Hall has an area of 500m2, a capacity of 600 people in a “theater style” layout, and is located in a one-storey building made of stone. Both the architecture and the materials of the building as well as the preserved historical machines on its north side, create a unique atmospheric setting for artistic and all other kinds of events.
The “Flotation Warehouse” Hall has an area of 680 sq.m. (and a capacity of 400 people) is located on a ground floor building made of stone, with industrial flooring. The strongly sloping roof with the interesting wooden construction inside, create an imposing but also warm atmosphere for hosting a variety of events (artistic, scientific, corporate, social).
The Amphitheatre is a unique place for organizing outdoor events. It is located just opposite the Floating Warehouse Hall and overlooks a good part of the industrial complex, creating a unique natural setting. The amphitheatre has a capacity of 600-650 seats in the stands, while its orchestra, an area of 950 sq.m., is a particularly spacious stage space, where at least 200 seats can be added.
